هو : - الشيخ أ�*مد بن عبد المنعم بن صيام , المعروف بالدمنهوري , ولد سنة 1101 هجرية بدمنهور ,

قدمه علماء الأزهر لعلمه وفضله . فتولى مشيخة الازهر سنة 1183 هجرية . كان الدمنهوري غزير التأليف و متنوع الانتاج الفكري .

توفي في 10 / 7 / 1192 هجرية .
