البيروني

هو :- أبو الري�*ان م�*مد بن أ�*مد الخوارزمي , المشهور بالبيروني ,

ولد في 2 / 11 / 0362 هجري بخوارزم و والبيروني كلمة فارسية تعني ظاهر أو خارج , عظيم الموهبة عميق الفكر فهو مؤرخ م�*قق و جغرافي مدقق و فلكي بارع و رياضي أصيل و فيزيائي راسخ و مترجم متمكن بلغ من أعجاب الاوربين به أن قال عنه المستشرق ( سخاو ) إن البيروني أكبر عقلية في التاريخ .

و أصدرة أكاديمية العلوم السوفيتية عام 1370 هجري مجلدآ تذكاريآ عنه بمناسبة مرور ألف عام على مولده .

توفي في 03 / 7 / 440 هجري .
